1. Who We Are

Tutlen ("we", "us", "our") is a global learning and coaching marketplace currently in pre-launch. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you sign up for the Tutlen founding members waitlist.

  • Email address (required)
  • User type: whether you are joining as a Learner or a Coach
  • Timestamp: the date and time of your signup

We do not collect payment information, sensitive personal data, or browser tracking data at this stage.

  • Understand the composition of our founding member community (legitimate interest)

4. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your data is stored securely in a MongoDB Atlas database hosted on cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS). Access is restricted to authorised Tutlen personnel only.

We retain waitlist data for a maximum of 24 months from the date of collection, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first.

5. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with:

  • Email service providers: to deliver your confirmation email (data processed on our behalf only)

6. Cookies

The Tutlen waitlist page does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We may use essential session cookies required for the page to function. No cookie consent is required at this stage.

The full Tutlen platform (when launched) will have a separate Cookie Policy.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the UK or EU, under GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@tutlen.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the waitlist after changes constitutes acceptance.
